Meet Lauren Bambra-Fox
Founder, Veterinary Physiotherapist & Hydrotherapist

I am the founder of London Veterinary Physiotherapy & Behaviour. I am a passionate veterinary physiotherapist with advanced training in Clinical Animal Behaviour.

I provide calm, compassionate care that helps pets recover from surgery, manage long-term conditions, and move, pain-free.

Education

I completed my clinical training in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham, where I gained advanced practical skills in manual therapies, electrotherapies, exercise prescription, and clinical case management.

Alongside this, I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh, which provided an evidence-based framework for understanding, assessing, and supporting problem behaviours in companion animals.

My first degree, a BSc (Hons) in Health and Human Sciences from Durham University, gave me a strong foundation in evolutionary biology, ecology, and health sciences, with a particular focus on animal-related topics and human–animal interactions, including international fieldwork in South Africa and the Philippines.

Meet Alice Douglas

Veterinary Physiotherapist & Hydrotherapist

Hi, I’m Alice. I have always felt a strong connection to animals and a desire to work with them in a meaningful way. My interest in psychology, combined with a passion for animal care, led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

I went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy alongside a Level 4 qualification in Canine Hydrotherapy. I am a fully qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Canine Hydrotherapist, registered with IRVAP.

My combined background allows me to integrate behavioural understanding with physical rehabilitation, particularly as the link between pain and behaviour becomes increasingly recognised. I work with dogs presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, using an evidence-based and compassionate approach to support recovery, improve strength, and promote long-term wellbeing.

Meet Daria Gruca

Hi, I’m Daria, the administrative support behind the scenes for London Veterinary Physiotherapy & Behaviour and a dog mom to Gigi, my energetic Cavapoo who reminds me daily why I love working in this fantastic sector!

I help keep things running smoothly by managing appointment scheduling, client communications, records, and the day-to-day operations, so Lauren can focus on your pets’ wellbeing. I’m often the first point of contact when you reach out, and I'm always happy to assist with any queries you may have.

Working in the veterinary physiotherapy field combines my passion to helping people with my adoration for animals. I feel lucky to be a part of a team that is so dedicated to helping animals live a happier and healthier life.
